Soundfellas presents Dwayne G
Born in Barcelona, he embarked upon his musical journey at the tender age of 13 years old in 1988, displaying a talent so raw and so unique that he caused a stir everywhere he played, specialising mainly in the genres of music closest to his heart: Acid-house; old skool funk and acid-jazz.
Since then and until now P.Gonzalez a.k.a “Dwayne G” has been at the top of his field for more than 20 years, playing at some of the city’s biggest and best clubs, as well as working for the likes of Hed Kandi, Frederic Homs, Levi’s, Dutch, Forum BCN Life Parade, Miss Sixt, Ondas Awards 09 and Barcelona Love Parade where he played to more than 70,000 people. Dwayne has played alongside some of the finest Djs the world has to offer, including Dave Seaman, Roger Sanchez, Armin Van Buuren, Sandy Rivera, George Morel , A.T.F.C, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Kurd Maverick, Mastiksoul, David Penn, Cesar de Melero, Dj Oliver, Dj Pippi o Wally Lopez to name but a few.
Renowned as one of the best DJs Barcelona has to offer, he is currently involved in producing several tracks with names such as David Gausa (basic selection vol1) – Ministry Of Sound (Ministry of sound the nightlife) with more than 30,000 copies sold over both compilations. Currently Dwayne G is signed to J.Bass under record label Elite Groove/Elite Rec, and is resident at Catwalk Club Barcelona as well as spinning for the Kinky Dolls Ibiza Collective and Hotel W (Sheraton Barcelona).
DJ, artist, producer and promoter, Dwayne has demonstrated that he is capable of satisfying the taste of the most discerning and avant-garde public demands, consistently building an uplifting and vibrant atmosphere across the dance floor whilst catering for an ever-changing crowd.
House music is Dwayne G’s passion, his very life and soul, the entirety of his existence and this is captured in various styles as follows: Deep house; Balearic Beats; House Classics; Minimal & Electronic vibes.
